Speaker Bio:

Eric Handy serves as the Chief Trust Officer and General Manager for Artificial Intelligence and Data at Davidson.

Eric brings 30+ years of military experience in leadership and staff positions at all levels. He has extensive knowledge and success in tactical to strategic planning, strategy and policy development, financial management, organizational design, and functional analysis. Eric is an acknowledged expert in Missile Defense (Avenger, Patriot, and Ground-based Missile Defense), Space (PNT/GPS, communications, overhead persistent infrared imagery), Capability Development (JCIDS), data analytics, operations research systems analysis and cyber.

 

Eric is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, earning a BS in Management – Quantitative Analysis. He is a graduate of the Marine Corps’ Command and Staff College and the Army War College, earning master’s Degrees in Strategic Studies and Military Studies. He is a Harvard University – Kennedy School – Senior Executive Fellow and has completed Data Analytics Certification (Cornell University) and Business Analytics Certification (Harvard Business School) programs. Eric has also completed the AI Leader Certification (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and AI Business Strategies and Applications (UC Berkeley).

Some of Eric’s military awards include the Bronze Star, Combat Action Badge, Master Space Wings, and the Valorous Unit Award.
