"Innovation & Sales-A Project Managers Role", Speaker: Dr. Brant Pearson, East Region (Wilmington & Jacksonville) Virtual Meeting

Ways of Working

Topic:

Project Management isn't just about delivering projects on time and on budget, but how we do it. Project managers are innovative and versatile individuals who often need to sell their ideas and concepts on design, implementation, and configuration to get client approval. Often throughout a project, we find it necessary to pitch ideas and concepts repeatedly. Through the Art of Innovation, we can try to streamline these processes and eliminate unnecessary sales pitches.

Description:

  1. What are some ways Project Managers often have to "sell" their projects? Why is it necessary?
  2. What are some factors that influence client approvals? How do you get their buy-in?
  3. How can The Art of Innovation help streamline a project and lead it to success?
  4. What communication methods can help streamline the process and avoid future revalidation of projects?
  5. What innovative toolsets might project managers use to help streamline processes to help reach goals and objectives? How can they be used?

  • Examine factors that influence client approvals
  • Examine The Art of Innovation
  • Identify communication toolsets and eliminate the need for constant sales pitches
