Topic:

The Impact of Data Cultures on Project Success

Since 2014, the top two reasons cited for project failures in corporations have been managerial and cultural. However, companies and organizations continue to misplace focus on technology and tools. Recent research in the areas of data analytics and organizational management has revealed four distinct data culture types and how they can affect project success, analytics maturity, and DEI efforts within an organization. This session will introduce the four types, the assessment framework, and what every project manager should know about leveraging them for success.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover the four data culture types
  • Identify the typical priorities and challenges that align with each type
  • Understand how to communicate with each type for maximum benefit
  • Learn how to mobilize and leverage each type for company success
