The Full Contact Sport of Risk Management: How to Ensure the Success of Any Project

Presentation Description:

From small to large; non-profit to for profit; and government projects all involve risk.  As project management practitioners, what is your strategy for risk management?  Develop a plan and store it in a desk and never look at it again?  Conduit weekly/monthly risk discussions?  Inability to focus on risk due to lack of resources or higher priority actions?  My organization does not perform risk management, what is it?

Learning Objective / Outcomes:

During this talk, Ms. Smith will share risk management and identification tips learned in her 20+ years’ experience in construction and project management.  Discuss how to determine the correct level of implementation based on project or organization attributes, and how as Project Manager you can effectively communicate your challenges to Key stakeholders and manage expectations.
