About the Scholarship
In honor of Frank Clemente, PMI Carolina's long-time member who served on the Board of Directors, provided PMP prep instruction, and was awarded PMI Representative of the Year for his dedication to teaching, sharing, and giving back.
Purpose: The Carolina Scholarship provides financial assistance to active Chapter members pursuing a project management certificate or degree.
Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, participation in Chapter activities, and the Chapter's available funds. Complete the request form below to be considered for the 2026 Scholarship.

Criteria
Applicant is entering and/or continuing a Project Management certificate or degree program in an accredited school (ex., Wake Forest, UNC Charlotte, Central Piedmont Community College, Northeastern, WCU) OR pursuing a PMI Certification.
- Must be an active chapter member for at least 1 year and be in good standing upon application
AND
- Proof of registration must be provided upon application for the scholarship
- An outline of the certificate or program coursework must be provided upon application for the scholarship
- Note: Costs for classes not aligned with a PM Certificate or PM degree will not be considered.
OR
- Preparing to take a PMI Certification Exam.
Application Information
Application Period: July 10th - August 20th
Winner Selection: The PMI Carolina Professional Development will review the complete scholarship registration forms and present them for final review and approval by the PMI Carolina Board of Directors. Selected winners will be notified by September 5th, 2026.
Winners will also be announced publicly in the September 2026 PMI Carolina Monthly Newsletter.
Winners will be expected to participate in social media promotional materials for the Frank Clemente Scholarship.
