Topic: How to Train Your AI: Demystifying ChatGPT with Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning Basics 

Despite the technical-sounding title, this workshop is not overly technical. The goal is to make the content approachable and help participants explore the differences between traditional programming and AI, and dive into supervised and self-supervised learning. We aim to encourage attendees to get involved in building and customizing their own AI solutions. Perfect for project managers, business analysts, and other professionals, this workshop covers the differences between traditional programming and AI, and dives into supervised and self-supervised learning. This workshop aims to demystify AI and encourage further exploration in the field. Adaptable for different levels of expertise, it’s a fantastic opportunity to get a head start in understanding the future of technology. All you need is a pen and paper to take notes.

Segun Akinyemi works on data engineering projects at Microsoft using various Azure products. He also led Microsoft Charlotte’s Discover Days, where he combines his passion for tech with education to help students explore STEM careers. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, blogging, longboarding, running, watching anime, and working from third places (coffee shops, café’s, etc.) around the city.
