This presentation will provide learners with different avenues to managing hectic 8-hour workdays, life-on-life events and provide time-out tactics to reduce burn-out. There will also be a written practicum of a lived experience interview of a participant. This will allow learner engagement and a reflection of self & time management.

Dr. Benita Sherrod Sanders is a native of Monroe, Union County, North Carolina. She is the CEO/Owner of EXCEL Enrichment Program, a non-profit that provides tutorial services and summer camp to children ages 5-11 year olds. She is the mother of one daughter, Addison (37) who has Down Syndrome.
Dr. Sanders graduated from Fayetteville State University (1991), B.S. Business Administration-Management and University of Phoenix (2004), M.A. Organization Management and University of Phoenix (2009), Ph.D. Management/Leadership. Dr. Sanders serves on several Boards and Committees including: Partners- Human Rights Committee (Chair) , 4-H Advisory Board , Women’s Missionary Committee, UCDW (1st VP) and TreesUnion.
Dr. Sanders takes great pride in the work that she does. She loves her community and all children and parents she serves. Dr. Sanders makes it a priority to carve out time in her schedule so that she is available to be a resource and advocate for the rights of all citizens.
