Asheville Community February Meeting

Speaker: Dr. Robert Wright, PMP

This presentation addresses important information for Project Managers in answering critical questions associated with project status throughout the project lifecycle. As Project Managers we are responsible for our project’s successful completion: ideally on schedule, on or under budget and with deliverables the user expects. Project Managers must ask key questions during the project’s life cycle to make sure the project is on track. Project managers must report on project status and make informed decisions on whether to accept or reject changes. This presentation discusses how Project Managers can use metrics, measures, and key performance indicators to monitor their project and make informed decisions in managing change.

Dr. Wright is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with extensive experience in medium to large software application projects. Dr. Wright is the president of Wright Management and Consulting Group, a VA certified small business. He has managed many multi-million dollar software projects during his career.
