Growing up playing little league games I always wanted to be the captain, or thought of as a team leader. As a kid being a captain meant standing in front, being in the spotlight and It also meant having to make very important decisions during critical times within games. To be a leader as a kid was to be important. As an adult I now realize that being a leader is less about being in front and feeling important, but instead about an invaluable skill set that not many people have but do need. Many people are put in situations where they are required by their job to lead projects and/or teams but haven’t yet developed the proper skill set to be a good leader. After attending this session you’ll learn to how to be an effective and servant leader and how to obtain the results required to facilitate success within your team.

Bio: Tyler Luchey is CEO of It’s Living Within and renowned author and speaker whose witty and thought-provoking style has been pricking the minds of people across the country.
Tyler was born in Buffalo, NY but resides in the Charlotte, NC. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina @ Upstate where he graduated from the George Dean Johnson Jr School of Business.
Professionally Tyler has been in corporate America for the better part of the last decade as a Senior Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master.
