My journey from Thick to Thin and Truck to Tech
Lessons I learned through failure, grit, and persistence. I will share my journeys in my education – from a failure as a student in my youth, to a successful college student in middle age. My health journey – from 342 pounds to 179 pounds in one year, and couch potato to marathoner and running coach. Lastly, my career transition – from factory layoff to truck driver and eventually BI leadership.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be able to identify and articulate their unique strengths, leadership values and professional differentiators
- Participants will be able to apply strategies to increase personal visibility within teams, organizations and professional communities
