Joint Meeting by Metro Region "Learning the Success in your Failures" Speakers: Cassandra Willis, Nicole Kelly, Jennifer Young Baker

Business Acumen

Topic: Learning the Success in your Failures

Presentation Summary: If you have been a change leader working in the project profession for any amount of time, it didn't take you long to experience a project failure. A failure can be defined in several different ways: the project didn't meet the business's goals, exceed the budget, communication gaps, and lack of support by leadership. However the #1 reason a project fails according to Forbes Magazine is not preparing the enterprise for the change, the enhancement, or process improvement.

Our panelist will be discussing their professional failures, identifying the error, and how they've learned from their mistakes. In addition to a Q&A segment, this interactive session will divide the audience into breakout rooms to continue the knowledge sharing with your peers.
