Presentation Description: We've spent a year in makeshift offices and meeting through computer screens but not everyone's message is being received the same. Your lighting, background, camera angle, colors, and props deliver messages your audience receives and they all matter. Sunshine Media Network founder Jennifer Moxley has set up on-location interviews for every major national news network in garages, fields, empty hotel conference rooms, and yes, even living rooms. Since May 2020, she's used that knowledge to coach people through their at-home camera setups, because effective communication starts when our eyes and ears are in sync. Whether you have no budget or you're swiping the company credit card, everyone can improve their presence on camera with these easy and doable tips.

Presenter: Jennifer Moxley, founder of Sunshine Media Network

Presenter Bio: Jennifer wrote news stories with her weekly vocabulary words in 5th grade imitating the sketch comedy show, “Not Necessarily The News.” To this day, Jennifer is a Storymaker. She helps entrepreneurs and experts tell their story through a variety of ways, such as through video projects, speeches & presentations, media interviews, or through their branding. As a social entrepreneur, her work with corporations helps fund her company's mission to uplift minority and women entrepreneurs and experts. She worked as a newspaper reporter, producer and on-air reporter/anchor in Charlotte TV news before starting her own business freelancing with national news. Her more than 20 years of media experience includes owning a satellite truck, two insert TV studios, working as a camera operator for the NY Giants traveling news team and leading the video production team for Maya Angelou so she could do speeches from her home the last year of her life. All those experiences make her uniquely qualified to help others in this time of DIY video from home offices and kitchen counters.
